elephant
This is perhaps my favorite piece...ever. I don't think I have much affinity for animals (the ASPCA commercials do nothing for me), but I do love elephants. There is something about their incredible size, strength, and generally gentle behavior that draws me to them. If I had an exotic pet, I think it would be an elephant (that I would, of course, learn to ride to around town - to the grocery store, Latte Land, and school, mainly). Tell me, oh great state of Kansas, would I need a license?
baby brother

This is a reproduction of a photo of my baby brother, W, when he was about two. He's always been a great brother to me. I remember playing catch, taking karate lessons, riding bikes, and playing pretend late into the night. Sometimes, yes, he drove me crazy and would pinch my neck or yell at me for looking out his window in the car, but he has always protected me and provided infinite entertainment and companionship. W recently graduated from Shawnee Mission East HS, and I am so proud of him. I love you, little brother.

swg seeks bbb

SWG seeks BBB for companionship &
long walks through the forest. (No creeps
please - I carry brass knuckles)
Ben
This is Ben, a deeply depressed tiger friend of mine who was kind enough to let me paint him at this dark time in his life. He's been clinically, almost lethally, lethargic for months, though he hopes he's making progress. He's slowly coming to terms with his anger and aching love for his mother (who left him at birth to join the circus) and his unfortunate name (Ben, he is realizing, does not strike fear into the hearts of his onlookers the way he wishes it would). He thanks his psychotherapist (specializing in disorders related to large felines), Dr. Hawthorne, for all of his hard work. Ben has been taking a new medication and hopes he'll be back to his roaring self soon, ready to tear apart chickens and anyone whose fingers come too close to his cage. We love you Ben, and hope you feel better very soon! Keep on keepin' on!
propoganda pet
I've been reading (actually, looking through is more accurate) Chinese propaganda books lately (at least, that's what I think they are). The pictures are fantastic, if not brutal and severe.
